Starting operations in April 2012, Illumen FZE works with world-renowned medical device manufacturers in order to provide advanced medical technology to specialized hospitals throughout the Middle East. The types of devices being offered, for example, are drug eluting stents used in coronary arteries, stent-grafts which are used for abdominal aortic aneurysms, and grafts which are used for dialysis patients. In addition to the logistical aspects of medical device provision, Illumen FZE prides itself in its service offerings such as trainings and specialized hands-on workshops for physicians in order to increase device and technical knowledge. The primary goal of Illumen’s service offerings is to ensure each clinical procedure is conducted successfully, so that innovative medical devices can become widespread in the Middle Eastern region more quickly, and for patients with cardiovascular diseases to receive the best possible treatment locally.
